- 2004 - Mr. John Pilger, (in absentia)
- 2003 - Mr Tom Hyland, East Timor Solidarity Campaign
- 2002 - Dr Mary Redmond, founder of the Irish Hospice Foundation
- 2001 - John & Pat Hume, Inaugural award.
